Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, AL is seeking a full-time Network Engineer Sr supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) SW Team.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Strong Linux administration background

• Strong network configuration and management skills

• Experience with software encryption setup and administration

• The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

• Ability to travel to different customer sites to address issues

• Active Secret Clearance

Additionally successful candidates will be self-motivated, inquisitive, conscientious, and detail oriented.

Basic Qualifications:

System administration experience (Window or Linux)

Previous networking experience

Ability to travel to different customer sites to address issues

Active Secret Clearance

Preference for this requisition will be given to Space Employees

Desired Skills:

Linux system administration, including:

o System kickstart/cloning

o Software installation

o STIGs/IAVAs

o User account management

Configuration and management of network switches, firewalls, routers, network attached storage, and other networked devices (servers, clocks, radios, etc.)

Configuration of voice and data tactical radios

Configuration of encryption devices (e.g., KG-175)

Experience with software encryption setup and administration (provisioning, etc.)

Security+ Certification or willingness to obtain

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
