[501341 Senior Aerospace Engineer in Huntsville, AL [Work Location: Huntsville, AL [Schedule: Full Time [IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to provide the Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (CoE), currently and as it expands, with professional engineering, technical and programmatic assistance to support efforts in development of a NCR-IADS MIC. Advisory and assistance services may include advisory assistance support in; vulnerability and risk assessment and mitigation; project justification and defense; program planning; evaluation and analyses of programs, projects, budgets and performance; and project execution, transition and commercialization. This also includes providing programmatic support in the development and preparation of acquisition and procurement documents. These services are comprehensively categorized as Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support services. As such, SETA support must expeditiously acquire the fundamental understanding of CoEs mission support to the National Capital Region Integrated Air Defense Systems (NCR-IADS) overall and respective Management and Integration Cell (MIC)offices mission, practices, policies, and procedures; and respond professionally and promptly to mission needs within a demanding, challenging, and evolving environment. *[Job Responsibilities:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}*

  • Manage the planning, preparation, and execution of MIC support to the annual Exercise American Shield (EAS) and annual Culminating Training Exercise (CTE).
  • Provide mobile network and communications support to testing and training environments.
  • Familiarity with communications and network support for NCR-IADS testing, training, and certification events
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge on the NCR-IADS communications architecture as well as a deep understanding of the Avenger, NASAMS, and Sentinel configurations.
  • Perform program analysis and provide program assistance for the weapon systems, unique components, and networks comprising NCR-IADS.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and evaluation of program documentation for management and technical reviews.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
