Internship positions available within both the residential and/or IOP Substance Use Disorder Treatment programs. The alcohol and drug counselor student intern is in a training position and by the end of his/her contracted training, will learn all aspects of the direct and non-direct service provision and the direction of treatment of clients in a 245G Licensed Non-Residential Substance Use Disorder treatment program. The alcohol and drug counselor intern is supervised by an alcohol and drug counselor supervisor who is responsible for all treatment services performed by the student intern and must review and sign all assessments, individual treatment plans, individual treatment plan review and progress notes, and discharge summaries prepared by the intern.
