The Role: Associate Director SQA Engineer

The Team: The selected candidate will be part of S&P Global Technology’s Brokerage, Research, Sales & Trading team. AD SQA Engineer is responsible to functions and the Business to ensure the quality delivery of our products. scalable solutions by working directly with the product development team.

The Impact: You will work with our global team of GMG and will primarily focus on the quality of our highly available applications by means of manual testing and building solutions to test applications.

Your challenge will be reducing the “time to market” for products without compromising quality, by using automation and innovation. You will use a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with the Product Owner to meet automation test requirements to the highest standards

  • Design Automation test strategies, and test frameworks based on user requirements

  • Help Sr SQA, SQA, and other products with Technical Challenges and define the next level for the present technical solutions

  • Candidate should be passionate about building great automation solutions.

  • Should be a technology geek, customer-oriented and results-driven

  • Knowledge and experience in financial markets

  • Familiarity with the following operating systems would be advantageous: UNIX, Linux

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a globally distributed software development team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience Level 11-15 years.

  • Self-managed individual who can actively build automation frameworks from scratch.

  • Very good in QA team Management.

  • Strong Experience in Test Automation Tools/Frameworks. Examples: Cucumber, Spec flow, Selenium WebDriver, SoapUI, JMeter, TestNG, NUnit,

  • Proficient in C# / Java / Selenium / API Testing (Please see Tech Section below for details)

  • Hands-on experience on TeamCity, Git CI/CD.

  • Good in implementing a Service Level Automation Framework.

  • Experience in designing high-efficiency tests for scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications.

  • Strong Database knowledge: Should be able to define & develop Automation Frameworks for Database centric / ETL Applications.

  • Must have good communication skills.

  • Must have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Good to have exposure to implementing Automation solutions to Agile Scrum and other SW development lifecycles.

  • Should be growth-oriented, confident, and self-starter.

  • Experience in leading QA teams.

The following experience would be advantageous:

  • ISTQB certification

  • Prior experience with the AWS platform is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Splunk is a plus.

  • Performance Testing using JMeter is a plus
