About the Team:
As a Sr. Specialist Software Engineering, you will join our dynamic Value Realization Office (VRO) organization’s employee experience team. This team is dedicated to enhancing employee experiences while ensuring that our customer remains at the center of everything we do.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Specialist Software Engineering candidate to help us lead the transformation of employee self-service, using ServiceNow software as the foundation for our work. The primary focus for this position will be to develop software solutions using no/low code workflows in ServiceNow that deliver unified employee experiences. Candidate must demonstrate professional skill as a JavaScript developer and have experience in ServiceNow software development. This role is critical in ensuring that our internal platforms are not only functional but also user-friendly, enabling our employees to access services and information efficiently. Roles and Responsibilities:
Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Debugging and fixing technical problems
Producing and running test cases to guarantee software quality
Documenting code and application functionality
Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development ensures your success
Qualifications:
Intermediate-level, real world experience with working knowledge of JavaScript
Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML and CSS
Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts
Experience using the ServiceNow platform
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Advanced problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organization and time management skills
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator preferred
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience with ServiceNow’s Glide and Service Portal scripting tools.
Position requires office presence according to the AT&T officer worker policies
