Forklift Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Forklift Operator and assist in the operations of our grain facility which may include tasks in packaging or warehousing areas. You will be responsible for operating a forklift to move products into storage or prepare them for shipment, ensuring proper placement and stacking according to our warehouse standards. You will also inspect the physical appearance of products for quality, use technology to track/manage inventory, and handle materials up to 70 pounds. Additionally, you will be involved in order picking, product sorting, repackaging, and performing safety inspections as directed. Other general labor tasks will also be required based on business needs.

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Illiopolis, Illinois.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment where steel-toed shoes and long pants are required. You will mostly work indoors, with some outdoor tasks potentially assigned. Prepare to assist in all facility operations or general facility maintenance as needed. Shift work is required, and shifts may vary based on production needs. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) like safety glasses and hard hats will be provided, but workers are expected to purchase their own steel-toed shoes, with a reimbursement up to $150.
