Description
Robert Half is working with a dynamic manufacturing company seeking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant that can grow quickly in this fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate will be degreed in accounting and have at least 1 year of experience. Incoming Accountant must be okay starting in more transactional tasks and moving on to more routine month-end and analytical skillsets. This Accountant will work side by side with the CFO and has the ability to help define processes.
Responsibilities:
Enter Accounts Payable invoices
Work with CFO in preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Perform general ledger reconciliations, enter journal entries
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze financial data
Collaborate with other departments and have ability to work cross-functionally
Assist with audits, compliance efforts and other adhoc needs
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Requirements
Degree in accounting or finance
1+ year experience in accounting
Ideally CPA or working towards
prefer previous manufacturing experience or desire to learn
