The NT-03 pay band encompasses the GS-09/GS-10 The NT-04 pay band encompasses the GS-11/GS-12 Responsibilities You will safely and reliably perform receipt, segregation, storage, issue, inspection, inventory, and maintain accounts for AAE and inert Non AAE shipments. You will utilize the Navy Ordnance Information System-Retail (OIS-R), and Serena Foreign Ordnance Inventory System (SFOIS). You will evaluate and determine appropriate packing methods and materials for explosive Hazardous Material pursuant to global transportation via commercial or military; land, sea or air freight transportation. You will be responsible for creating, preparing, and certifying shipping documentation, such as hazardous declarations, for the movement of explosive Hazardous Material on and off the base. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 (GS-9/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating ordnance transportation programs to eliminate potential hazards by ensuring proper safety and compliance for storage of explosive ordnance materials. For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing ordnance transportation programs to ensure the proper safety and compliance of storing and shipping ordnance materials and equipment for an organization. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: For the NT-03: Successful completion of a master's degree in a field directly related to the position being filled. OR Successfully completed two full years of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled. Additional Information You will serve as an Administrative Technical Specialist (Ordnance Logistician) in the Transport & Magazine Branch (M35) of the Industrial Support Division (M3) of NSWC Indian Head This announcement uses the STRL for Direct Support direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates.
