What is the job about?

You will lead projects about Sustainability data collection, analysis and visualization in line with Grundfos Sustainability Ambitions, through excellent technical subject matter expertise, a high degree of business insight, good task guidance, ambitious direction setting and motivation of project team members.

Your main responsibilities:

Project management

  • Ensure effective project execution, meeting expectations to Scope, Quality, Cost, Time, Benefits, and Risks tolerances from a defined Project Owner and Steer. Co.

  • Take ownership and ensure effective execution of projects in their entire lifecycle.

  • Show diligence by raising concerns and proposing countermeasures in due time.

  • Define needed Project resources (hours and cost), drive progress reviews, and capture post-implementation learnings.

  • Monitor and manage changes, risks, and uncertainties within the frame of the project.

  • Excel in continuous Stakeholder Management of functions and individuals impacted by the project.

  • Create clear, transparent, and committed agreements with team managers/team members by involving them in the planning.

Technical Expertise

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team and colleagues at local plants.

  • Support and ensure the technical aspects of the installation of meters and bring technical expertise, coordination skills, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of the installation process, technical configurations, applicable hardware and any modifications made during the project.

  • Provide in-depth knowledge/guidance and oversee the selection and deployment of appropriate sensors, data collection devices, data protocols, and other relevant technologies for monitoring environmental data.

  • Conduct testing and data quality checks to ensure accurate data in collaboration with the project team.

  • Act as the point of escalation in case of technical issues.

Digitalisation

  • Ensure the development and maintenance of software solutions connected to the projects.

  • Set up processes for data maintenance and system administration.

  • Collaborate with IS departments on connecting the data and creating the right data structure (e.g., server, queries).

  • Investigate and test solutions for analysis with AI solutions to reduce energy consumption.

  • Participate in and provide technical expertise to the handover process and contract alignment & negotiation process, including local offers from installers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data collection systems with existing databases and analytics tools.

  • Support development and implement protocols and strategies for data quality checks.

We imagine that you have:

  • A Master ’s degree in engineering, digitalization, environmental mgmt. or similar.

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a Global Company.

  • Hands-on experience with change management projects in a multinational matrix environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating technical teams in a project environment.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and can influence others across different organizational levels.

  • Significant knowledge about data collection methodologies, sensors, and monitoring systems.

  • Knowledge about and interest in digitalization such as cloud computing, machine learning and AI is a key advantage.

  • Understanding digital transformation and hands-on experience with running digitalization projects is a key advantage.

  • Experience within a business and manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to coordinate and implement complex and/or specialized projects and activities.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Proficient communication skills, written and verbal, English.
