A well known client IN Iowa City is seek a temporary Quality Tech for a 6-8 month assignment! 12 hour day shift, 6am-6:30pm working on a set schedule of 3-4 days per week. As a Quality Tech you will measure, test and sample the various products we make using calipers, scales, digital height gauge and compression testing. Assist in audit preparation. Accurately record reports and update databases. Must have experience with physical lab testing equipment and meet with client for an interview. Pay is based on on experience and interview $16.50-19/hour English (verbal and written) required. Responsibilities
As a Quality Tech you will measure, test and sample the various products we make using calipers, scales, digital height gauge and compression testing. Assist in audit preparation. Accurately record reports and update databases. Must have experience with physical lab testing equipment and meet with client for an interview. English (verbal and written) required.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 30lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
Skills
Quality Assurance (1 year of experience is required)
Product Inspection (1 year of experience is required)
Quality Control (1 year of experience is required)
Sampling (1 year of experience is required)
Testing (1 year of experience is required)
