Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support our operations by maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining all electrical, electronic, and logic equipment, as well as adjusting precision instruments and gauges. You will work with AC/DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, electronics, starters, switches, and lighting equipment, ensuring optimal power distribution and control circuits. You will interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications, working under the guidance of a supervisor. This role requires a commitment to safety and precision, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Hard Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, wattmeters, and tube testers

  • Experience with installing caliber equipment

  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring specifications codes

  • Ability to dismantle, inspect, repair, and replace faulty parts and wiring on various electrical equipment

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Iron Station, North Carolina.

Work Environment

The work environment is not climate-controlled, requiring the ability to work in various conditions. The position involves working a 12-hour night, 2-2-3 rotation shift (7:00pm-7:00am), with the necessity to work overtime as needed. The starting pay is $28 per hour, with an increase to $33 per hour after a 3-month probationary period.
