Description
We are partnering with a reputable firm in Irvine, CA, looking for an awesome secretary to join their team on-site! Candidates who have experience in secretarial or legal assistant roles within the litigation space are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
• Handling a 3:1 desk, supporting 2 partners and 1 associate
• State and federal e-filing processes
• Formatting various documents including pleadings, discovery shells, TOAs/TOCs
• Drafting and managing correspondence as required
• Assisting in trial preparation and civil litigation processes
Requirements
• Calendaring and scheduling legal proceedings and meetings
• Familiarity with e-Filing systems for legal documents
• Experience in Trial Preparation, including drafting of legal documents and coordination with legal teams
• Knowledge in Civil Litigation processes, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial stages
• Ability to wear multiple hats
