Product Testing Specialist

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform initial inspection of system and ensure system build meets BioDot’s high-quality standards.

  • Troubleshooting, repair/rework and adjusting systems to ensure proper functionality and performance to published specifications.

  • Perform and document operational performance testing for all BioDot products according to established testing procedures (motion, dispense, cutting, lamination, etc).

  • Perform application-based testing to ensure functionality of the systems.

  • Perform final checks and prepare system for shipment.

  • Perform Factory Acceptance testing, if applicable.

  • Address workmanship and/or design issues or improvement opportunities with cross functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Direct experience in performing and documenting operational performance testing of motion systems, low volume dispensing systems, cutting & lamination, or other automated industrial systems.

  • Experience in performing and documenting application-based testing to ensure functionality of the systems.

  • Candidates must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with Assembly/Production personnel as well as Engineering and Support teams.

  • Candidates must be able to manage time and maintain steady workflow to meet company deliverables.

  • Detail-oriented and strong compliance focus required.

  • Ability to function in fast-paced environments and be flexible with schedule changes.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly and determine appropriate action.

  • Strong ability to understand robotic equipment, control systems, and technologies.

  • Comfortable working with computers and G Suites (Docs, Sheets, slides, etc.).

  • Preferred experience in using Autocad, Solidworks are essential.

  • Ability to diagnose case study events and perform root cause analysis. Ability to recommend corrective actions for failures in processes.
