Senior Account Manager for Consumer Benefit Solutions

Aon is looking for a Senior Consumer Benefit Solutions Account Manager As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting our Consumer Benefit Solutions group in Irvine, CA. As a Senior Consumer Benefit Solutions Account Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Client Services (DCS).

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Irvine, CA office

What the day will look like

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) position is responsible for serving as a main point of contact for all assigned clients. The AM is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating communication between all internal and external project team members. The AM's time will vary from day to day based on current client, broker and carrier needs.

  • Serve as the client main point of contact for assigned complex cases

  • Ability to independently work any size or complexity case.

  • Assume role of Project Manager for assigned Enrollment Solutions deals

  • Work closely with Client Manager (CM) to understand all dynamics of client engagement

  • Lead implementation call content for Enrollment Solutions independently or in coordination with Client Manager

  • Internal project manager for relevant delivery scope, ensuring timelines met and delivery on track (coordinates with technology, communications, the Enrollment Counselors, field, etc)

  • Work closely with Client Manager on content for weekly call agendas and items of escalation

  • Daily project management throughout the program life cycle

  • Defining the program governance controls

  • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress

  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements, discussing resource options with DCS

  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies; internal and external

  • Managing and utilizing resources across projects

  • Managing stakeholders’ communication

  • Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the projects goals with the aid of the CM and DCS

  • Managing the main project plan

  • Mentor newer Account Managers

  • Is seen as a Subject Matter Expert to other Account Managers

  • Participate in projects to improve client service delivery

  • Create and lead training programs in project management skills

  • Potential to manage 1-2 Account Managers/Benefit Analysts

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    Pay Transparency

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
