Job Title: Motor Mechanic/Assembler

Job Description

Seeking Motor Mechanic/Assemblers for a 2nd shift position, from 12:00pm-8:30pm, with initial training on 1st shift for up to 30 days (6:00am-2:30pm). Ideal candidates will have experience with Electric Motors or a strong mechanical experience with a readiness to be trained. The role involves more than repetitive line assembly; it includes the inspection, dismantling, and reassembly of large AC and DC industrial motors or wind generators up to 10,000 HP. Responsibilities also include safely operating overhead cranes and handling weights up to 75 lbs.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with Electric Motors

  • Ability to safely operate overhead cranes

  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools

  • Experience in inspecting, dismantling, and reassembling machinery

Soft Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to be trained

  • Attention to detail

  • Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Irving, Texas.
