Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is within the telecom provider industry and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and reconciliation. This is a short term contract employment opportunity that entails managing accounts payable projects and implementing relevant accounting software such as Dynamics Ax, Dynamics GP, and Oracle.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable projects efficiently
• Utilize accounting software such as Dynamics Ax, Dynamics GP, and Oracle to manage financial records
• Ensure accuracy in account reconciliation, including cash and bank reconciliations
• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all financial data is up to date
• Resolve customer credit inquiries and monitor customer credit accounts
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Uphold company standards and procedures in all accounting tasks
• Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Continuously improve payment processes through efficiency enhancements. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role such as Accounts Payable Clerk or equivalent
• Proficient in using software like Dynamics Ax, Dynamics GP, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel
• Possess skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Account Reconciliation, Cash Reconciliations, and Bank Reconciliations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
