The company prides itself on delivering top-notch equipment and exceptional service to construction sites across the central United States and is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our heavy equipment and cranes. This permanent position requires you to travel out of state approximately 20% of the time to provide essential maintenance and assistance on construction sites. Your expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, welding, and HVAC systems will be vital to ensuring our equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
salary: $62,000 - $76,960 per year

Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and cranes, including hydraulic systems, mechanical components, welding, and HVAC systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues on-site and in the field.
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with construction site managers and operators to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and equipment status.
Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and site personnel as needed.
Travel to various construction sites across the central United States to perform maintenance and repairs.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 75lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
