Heritage Ministries Environmental Services Director in Jamestown, New York

As an Environmental Services Director you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair activities among the facility, buildings, and grounds. You will find meaningful work in this role with the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact every day!

Responsibilities:

  • Orients, instructs, and supervises other maintenance personnel. Assigns duties and evaluates work performance.

  • Requisitions supplies and equipment for use in department activities.

  • Keeps records of work performed and costs involved. Monitors employees daily time sheets.

  • Advises and consults with Director of Environmental Services for repair needs concerning structure, equipment and grounds.

  • Inspects equipment and systems as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services for proper working order, safety, compliance with local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations. Prepares and submits reports as necessary.

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC required.

  • Life safety regulations/knowledge.

  • Knowledge and experience in the different areas of maintenance.

  • Ability to lift over 60 pounds, stand, walk, sit, bend, and twist.

  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks and assignments.

  • A valid driver license with safe driving record.

  • Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, vendors, and volunteers.
