Parsons Corporation Lead Engineer - Urban Planning in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Engineer – Urban Planning to join our team! In this role you will get to play a pivotal role in the technical aspects of detailed Masterplanning for a large-scale land development project.
The lead Engineer - Urban Planning collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of engineering principles, urban design, and sustainability initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide technical leadership in the development and implementation of comprehensive Masterplans for large-scale mixed-use land development projects, integrating urban design principles, infrastructure requirements, and sustainability goals.
Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, environmental consultants, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive urban design strategies.
Conduct feasibility studies, site evaluations, and cost estimates to inform decision-making processes.
Utilize advanced software tools to produce detailed engineering drawings, site plans, and conceptual designs.
Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations effectively.
Any other activities associated with the role.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture.
Minimum of 18 years of experience in urban planning, civil engineering, or a related field, with a focus on large-scale land development projects.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects from concept through completion.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and other relevant design tools.
