US Tech Solutions Laboratory Assistant in Jersey City, New Jersey
Duration: 11 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Description:
Generate and/or evaluate lab-scale samples, study conduct for regulatory submissions of pesticides and provide relevant information for further decisions.
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment needed for sample analyses.
Maintain appropriate records for all relevant studies.
Understand and follow EHS, SOPs, regulations and guidelines maintaining a safe work environment.
Support lab functions, such as glassware cleaning, waste handling, and ordering supplies.
Capable of managing multiple tasks, working effectively with more than one technical supervisor and providing timely results.
Skill and Competency Requirements:
Wet chemistry experience
Laboratory documentation experience
Microsoft software experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education: BS in chemistry, analytical chemistry, and/or related science field
Preferable experiences:
HPLC and/or other analytical instrumentation experience
