Senior Software Developer wanted by WealthCounsel, LLC, Jersey City, NJ.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Providing estimates for development tasks by contributing to technical documentation and participating in code reviews.• Developing, enhancing, and maintaining web-based applications using CSS, Javascript, HTML, and XQuery.• Developing source code and analyzing various aspects of software, creating reports, unit tests, and pull requests all according to technical designs, to determine points of improvement.• Participating in the Problem Management process while also working closely with the QA team diagnosing and repairing components of our software solutions using sound diagnostictechniques.• Proactively learning and utilizing new technologies, concepts, and procedures to enhance project outcome.EDUCATION AND DEMONSTRATED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus four (4) years of progressive experience in any occupation which includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include:4 years of experience with JavaScript web application development, which experience may include any combination of experience with libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React or Vue;4 years of experience with HTML to build web applications;4 years of experience with CSS which experience should include experience with CSS processors;3 years of experience with Client/Server technologies including HTTP Request/Response;2 years of experience creating or consuming REST APIs; and1 year of experience with database technologies including SQL and NoSQL.JOB LOCATION: Company's HQ located in Jersey City, NJ.
