Our client, in Johnston is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be working in a greenhouse/research facility operating floor scrubbing equipment, a power washer, vacuum, and various tools. The ideal candidate will have previous sanitation experience, a team-oriented focus, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $20.00
What’s the Job?
Operate a ride-on floor scrubber, power washer, vacuum, and handheld blower.
Perform routine greenhouse sanitation tasks like discarding regulated material, destroying wast, cleaning pots/containers, cleaning and growingn sanitizing rooms.
Use Various cleaning products
Troubleshoot machinery
Work around plants and pollen
What’s Needed?
Able to pass a background check and drug screen, HS Diploma
Able to lift up to 30 lbs, twist, grab, be able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to tolerate hours of repeitive work in a warm, greenhouse environment with pollen present year-round.
Detail oriented and can follow instructions
Excellent communication skills

Day Shift Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Weekly Pay
One year contract
Develop skills in a research environment
Bonus: $500 after first 6 months, $1000 paid after 12 months.
