Actalent Mechanical Design Engineer in Jupiter, Florida
Job Description
We are seeking a Design Engineer responsible for designing Industrial Gas Turbine Engine components and systems to meet specific fit, form, and functional requirements. The role involves supporting the development and overseeing adherence to PSM design systems, including job folders, documentation, technical reviews, drawings, engineering changes, and field validation plans. The candidate will analyze components to ensure they maintain appropriate stress levels and meet life requirements. This position also includes leading or supporting scheduling, project engineering, and procurement efforts to ensure timely delivery of components, evaluating supplier quotes, and identifying critical path schedules for design, manufacturing, and procurement activities. The successful candidate will create, lead, and deliver presentations to internal and external clients.
