LAKOTA LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Kindergarten Teacher - 1 YEAR CONTRACT in Kansas, Ohio
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Ohio Teaching License
- Teaching Credentials to meet the requirements of the Third Grade Reading Guarantee are preferred
- Possess much patience for and enjoyment of children
- Ambitious, high -- energy person
- Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner
- Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment
Excellent classroom management techniques
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as an Elementary School teacher
- Fourth and Fifth Grade Endorsement
- Experience in working with special needs students
- Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications to enhance instruction
A desire to affect change in the lives of children
