The GS Finance MDM T&P Manager - MedTech is responsible for leading the global implementation of a cross-functional roadmap designed to advance the Global Services organization through delivery of foundational and accelerating initiatives focused on Finance Master Data global processes functions serviced by GS Finance-Manila in J&J. This role will partner closely within Project SigniFi and TranSCend Programs to ensure E2E seamless accounting for processes and a global template.

This role is responsible for providing quality review, governance, and oversight of the TransAct & TranSCend project deliverables for GS Finance processes. Additionally, this role will provide oversight and coordination with and across workstream leads, lead strategy execution, initiative development, investment recommendations, and assists with establishing the run state of all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Be aligned with applicable laws and regulations, and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo

  2. Maintain Operational Excellence

  • Lead, facilitate and coordinate all deployment activities per project roadmap

  • Effectively lead all aspects of multiple projects concurrently

  • Conduct Launch kick-off, lead readiness, anticipate, and lead risks/issues, manager integration cross workstreams (I.E. Compliance, A2R, I2C, UAM)

  • Responsible for delivery of GS assigned project breakthroughs per project plan

  • Business partnering with relevant stakeholders (PMO, Finance, GPO, BPO, Design Team)

  • Active orchestration and interaction with Project SMEs (day to day guidance, coaching, issue handling, comms)

  • Accountable for smooth transition to new operational model with minimal disruption to operations/business

  • Accountable for issue and risk resolution and escalation to PMO where required

  • Manage interdependencies with other initiatives

  • Understand measures of success and drive work to proper completion

  • Lead assessment of business readiness for successful transition through Go-Live to Stabilization Exit.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education

  • At least University degree or equivalent experience in finance related field or equivalent.

Required

  • Strong leadership skills to lead within defined area of responsibility

  • Good decision-making skills

  • Good presentation and communication skills. Specifically, ability to explain technical or complex concepts in an understandable way to business partners.

  • Standardization and automation mindset/skills

  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues

  • Ability to work autonomously, while keeping other team members informed as appropriate

  • Ability to adapt to changing environment and project needs

  • Strong Project Management experience

  • Ability to assess business readiness for successful transition

  • Change management skills

  • Understanding of J&J finance processes, preferably understanding of Global Services Finance Organization
