ASRC Federal Holding Company Orion Vehicle Integration Team (VIT) Lead 2nd shift in Kennedy Space Center, Florida
ASRC Federal System Solutions seeks an Orion Vehicle Integration Team (VIT) Lead to join our team at Kennedy Space Center, FL. ASRC Federal System Solutions brings a 14-year history of delivering high-performance space systems engineering, integration and satellite operations services to civil and defense agencies. We provide these services throughout all phases of the program life-cycle and across the entire space systems architecture, including space and ground assets.
Specific Job Duties:
This is a 2 nd shift position
Work cross-functional with all areas of the program to support vehicle integration
Coordinate priority work
Adjudicate any parts or engineering issues thar arise during integration efforts
Document issues and route them to applicable stakeholders
Maintain a lesson learned database
Raise awareness for schedule impacts
Requirements:
- ABET Accredited Engineering Bachelor's degree, related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
Required Skills:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to understand engineering specifications
Ability to understand work instructions
Ability to understand test requirements
Advanced experience in Microsoft suit tools
Desired Skills:
Excellent communications skills
Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of 6 sigma processes
Self-starter
Knowledge in aerospace processes
