Job Description Summary Actively lead and train lab technicians in the grading and collection process of all data. Verify information gathered and entered into data entry system for accuracy while keeping the lines of communication open between all departments on grades. Job Description * Primary owner of Environmental and Finished Product microbiological programs * Collect, label and ship microbiological finished samples, environmental swabbing and belt swabs. * Enter finished micro results into program * Manage lot definition and cleanup tracking * Perform and Enter Environmental swabbing * Enter all swab results into program * Manage positive results tracking * Prepare and report all corrective actions for out of specification results * Maintain positive listeria corrective action log * Gather, store and ship customer sample requests * Track all micro results and enter into data system * Issue corrective action form on out of grade checks and positive checks * Document and Track CCP's and Foreign Material Findings * Build data entry panels in the process entry system * Order lab supplies in computer based program * Conduct administrative tasks like filing, copying, and typing * Write correspondence and reports. * Read and interpret documents that contain lab terminology, safety rules, and specifications levels. * Other tasks as assigned Perform other job duties as assigned Basic & Preferred Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; or three to six months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 2-5 years of related experience. * 1-2 years experience working with computer programs such Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. * 1-2 years experience leading and directly supervising others * Ability to obtain HACCP certification within a year of hire * Ability to read, write, and comprehend English * Bilingual preferred but not required- Spanish & English Industry-Competitive Benefits Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
