Aerospace Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and evaluating all product characteristics according to drawing and specification requirements. This role primarily deals with aerospace parts, including machined and turned cylindrical parts for aerospace applications. Key responsibilities include visual observation of dimensional and functional characteristics in final inspection, creation of AS9102 First Article and Inspection Sheets, reviewing certifications for incoming materials, performing in-process inspections, evaluating product manufacturing at startup, reconciling final inspection documentation for shipments, and creating and processing rejection tags.

Hard Skills

  • 1+ years of Quality inspection experience in a Manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read and write complex instructions and quality documents in English

  • Ability to read and comprehend schematics

  • ITAR compliant identification

  • Proficiency in using manual gages such as Micrometers, Tri-Mics, and Laser

  • Learn complex measurement systems such as CMM, Vision/Optical systems

  • Aerospace quality inspection experience (preferred)

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kent, Washington.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises and machinery with moving parts.
