Robert Half Financial Analyst in Kent, Washington

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst role based in Kent, Washington. The selected candidate will be instrumental in our financial planning process, providing valuable support to our finance department. This role will involve managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and conducting financial analysis to help optimize our financial performance and strategic position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as needed.

• Develop complex financial models using advanced Excel skills for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

• Provide monthly financial and budget variance analyses.

• Review and monitor expenses compared to budgeted amounts.

• Maintain accurate historical financial records.

• Conduct regular financial performance studies and propose strategic initiatives.

• Assist in enhancing existing reports and developing new ones.

• Collaborate with the finance team to execute finance operation duties.

• Contribute to the annual budgeting and strategic planning process.

• Use Excel Formulas, Springbrook, and GAAP Accounting for financial tasks and analysis.

• Follow GASB regulations for financial operations. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Excel Formulas is required

• Proficient knowledge of the Springbrook software is necessary

• Sound understanding of GAAP Accounting principles is essential

• Familiarity with GASB standards and regulations is needed

• Must possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data

• Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field is required

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Financial Analyst is desirable

• Proficiency in other financial software and systems would be advantageous

• Must adhere to all ethical standards and compliance regulations in finance.
