Aerotek Hydraulic Technician in Kent, Washington

An industrial equipment supplier is looking for a hydraulics technician.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for trouble shooting, inspection, repair, calibration and certification of a variety of industrial specialty tools & equipment.

  • Upon determining the root cause of failure or lack of performance the technician will read parts manuals and technical bulletins to determine part numbers for the needed components required to complete the repair.

  • Part numbers will be legibly and accurately written on a repair order as well as the estimated labor time required to complete the work.

  • Once a repair is approved and the requisite parts have been received, the technician will refurbish the equipment, reassembling and testing it to manufacturer specifications.

  • Calibration / Certification will be completed where necessary, and the equipment will be painted as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and interpret parts manuals, drawings and technical bulletins.

  • Experience in Hydraulic repair of at least 3000 PSI

  • Mechanical repair of small engines and pumps

  • Proficiency MS Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Email.

  • Ability to understand, interpret and follow operational guidelines.

PAY

  • $30/hr-$40/hr depending on experience.

SHIFT

  • Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
