FTE: 0.950000 Hours: Tuesday-Friday 1st shift, one night until 6pm Shift: Shift 1 Clinic Tech Summary: The Clinic Tech is an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. Provides delegated age appropriate care in a culturally and ethnically sensitive manner under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, LVN/LPN and/or physician/APP. Contributes to patient care by assisting with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment related to vital signs, performing blood draws, maintaining the environment of care, managing supply inventory, and/or assisting providers and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to enhance the patient care experience. Clinic Tech Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is required. State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification or State of Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician License is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire. Medical Assistant/LPN Summary: A Medical Assistant/LPN is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. This individual is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and other duties as assigned. The Medical Assistant/LPN is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient\'s visit. The Medical Assistant/LPN may be required to cross train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations. Other duties as assigned.
