[We are hiring aMaintenance Mechanic Associate. [The Maintenance Mechanic Associate follows when carrying out day-to-day duties. **[The Maintenance Mechanic Associate[ shall [be responsible for following the directions of the Director of Maintenance in day-to-day maintenance of LIB maintenance equipment and manufacturing machinery.

1. Perform scheduled periodic preventive maintenance and meet deadlines on specific equipment as instructed by the Head Mechanic.
2. Perform routine daily equipment fixes and troubleshooting when called upon; These duties may require manufacturing or fabricating parts.
3. Maintain up to date shop equipment and maintenance tools.
4. Learn to possess a general understanding of technical manuals.
5. Learn how to operate equipment. Must learn the entire process of using Gerber Paragon cutter to cut the components using various patterns and materials our finished products require. Serve as back-up for Operator role.
6. Work with management to promote the company safety program.
