Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Kirkland, Washington

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Kirkland, Washington. This role involves maintaining and updating customer credit records, processing credit applications, and addressing customer inquiries related to credit. The individual in this role will also assist in the preparation of financial information for month-end close processes and will be expected to contribute to process improvements for efficiency. This is a hybrid role that requires two days in office per week in Kirkland, WA.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of products and services provided.

• Process refunds and adjustments as necessary.

• Assist with the preparation of information used in month-end close processes, including key accounts such as deferred revenue, cash, and cash in transit receivables.

• Address customer account inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Resolve invoice issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and record journal entries, prepare account reconciliations, and assist with other month-end close responsibilities.

• Assist centers and patients with obtaining financing.

• Support and introduce process improvements to deliver process efficiencies.

• Maintain a high level of proficiency with the MS Office suite and Acumatica or similar mid-tier accounting software.

Requirements

• Must have a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is required

• Knowledge of Cash Activity management is essential

• Experience with Acumatica software for accounting tasks is a plus

• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
