Requisition Summary The Product Structure Specialist works as part of a team responsible for maintaining Kenworth bills of material (BOM) and selection logic integrity, and processing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to support timely project implementations. It is the gateway through which tens of thousands of options and features are configured in Engineered-to-Order trucks. The qualified candidate effectively manages multiple work requests and balances competing priorities to complete assigned tasks. This includes identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in day-to-day activities. Here's what you will do in this role: Creates and maintains bills of material (parts lists and work instructions) required to support Kenworth truck production Interprets and translates source document information into bill of material and selection logic to define product configurations and part requirements Communicates with Engineering and Change Control to ensure correct interpretation and implementation of design documentation Supports completion of ECN bill of material and selection updates to support project launch timing and minimize plant rework Investigates identified implementation issues and processes feedback to update bill of material files Supports creation of new sales option code content Communicates issue and/or project status updates to stakeholders in various levels of the PACCAR organization Participates in continuous improvement initiatives Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills: 0-1 years of experience required Associate's degree in business, math or technical field required; Bachelor's degree a plus Excellent attention to detail High level of initiative and demonstrated use of proactive problem-solving approach Excellent communication skills Must be able to work with a diverse set of stakeholders and manage multiple tasks concurrently Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with Change Management software and COPICS mainframe applications desired Lean training a plus Previous automotive and/or manufacturing experience/truck knowledge a plus Why work for PACCAR/Kenworth?
