Our Adult Basic Education and Literacy/High School Equivalency/HSE teachers are responsible for providing lessons and supporting students in reading, language, and/or math. For those students without a diploma, the Adult Basic Education and Literacy teacher will help students prepare to take and pass the high school equivalency (formally GED) examination.
Qualifications: Candidate should have strong English grammar skills, math skills, and confidence in teaching grammar, vocabulary, workforce concepts and employability skills to students. A Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Adult Education and Literacy (SEL) certification required; this certification will be completed within four months of hire date.
Testing: Employer will perform background check. Shift: Days/Evenings Monday-Friday
