Penske Supply Chain Analyst in Kitchener, Ontario

Position Summary:

A Supply Chain Analyst will maintain solutions as it relates to the customer agreement and may recommend changes to improve efficiency, provide cost savings, or improve customer service. Position will require both customer and carrier interactions and be capable of representing Penske in customer meetings. A Penske Supply Chain Analyst will work collectively between Operations, Engineering and Technology to support logistics solutions and systems implementations.

This position supports the Day Shift, Monday to Friday

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support both the logistics, operations, and design teams in identifying and developing network-wide standard processes and tools.

  • Align multiple data sources to produces standard metrics and other deliverables

  • Handle reoccurring analysis and tasks driving continuous cost savings initiatives and process improvements

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators and support root cause analysis.

  • Interact with customers in resolving problems. Coordinate both short- and long-term solutions.

  • Map and document standard operating processes

  • Apply tactical processes daily within the established business rules

  • Work with internal subject matter expert to resolve problems

  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1 to 3 years of comparable work experience

  • Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics concepts

  • Candidate must possess strong Microsoft 365 experience

  • Experience with Power BI / Tableau required.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Advanced problem solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently with minimum supervision

  • Consistently demonstrates proven ability to learn and use necessary tools

  • Ability to follows process and standard procedures- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
