Job Title: Associate Project Manager Department: Programs Reports To: VP of ProgramsType of Position: Full TimeGrade: 17Work Setting: Remote, central and east TN (Knoxville, TN area and east)Travel Required: Yes, up to 10-25% of the timeJob Summary:Primary responsibility for this position is supporting the administration of Fahe’s TN ARPA Project/contract, under the direction of the VP of Programs. These projects include Fahe Members and other organizations as Partners. Will serve as an additional point of contact on the Programs team for Members and Partners, will assist in coordinating project activities to ensure advancement and/or completion of project deliverables according to schedule, and will assist in the collection of supporting data as directed by Supervisor. Will serve as an advocate for Fahe and its Members and will promote Fahe and Member products and programs to potential clients. This position will also identify opportunities and partnerships that enhance the work of the Fahe Network. This role is funded through a specific grant, and while it offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, please note that the position is contingent upon continued grant funding. As such, the duration of employment may be limited.Key Responsibilities:Primary responsibility for this position is supporting the administration of Fahe’s TN ARPA Project/contract, under the direction of the VP of Programs. Associate PM will work directly with program participants, typically non-profits or partner organizations, to support grant administration throughout the project, with specific tasks depending on project needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating with participating organizations to support the administration of Fahe’s TN ARPA project and disbursement of funds to participating organizations, timely completion of deliverables, file maintenance, data collection for internal and external progress reporting, supporting continuous process improvement, and consistent communication with partners, funding agency, and other internal and external contacts as needed. Communication and Representation: Build trust and long-term relationships through clear and effective communication with clients, Members, Partners, funding agencies, internal staff, and other stakeholders. Represent Fahe in a positive light in community engagements when applicable. Manage client expectations.Provide task and project support to VP of Programs and other team members as requested, including reviewing prepared documents, attending and taking notes during meetings, and/or other tasks as needed. Project support includes collaboration, group problem-solving, critical feedback, and process improvement. Maintain reliable contact with supervisor during remote workday regarding task completion and progress towards deliverables. May be tasked with scheduling virtual or in person meetings and calls with program contacts as requested.Grant Or Funding Source Compliance: Under VP of Programs supervision and guidance, ensures that program participants meet all compliance-related requirements of funding source(s), including but not limited to State and Federal regulations, Acts, Codes, etc. (as applicable) to ensure compliance.Perform other functions as necessary or as assigned.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent RequiredBachelor’s Degree preferredExperience: 1-3 years in Project management, sales/client management, case management, office administration or related fields required2-5 years of Nonprofit grant management and Grant Administration/Implementation - Federal Grants experience preferredSkills: Project ManagementScheduling and Calendar ManagementDealing with diverse groups of internal and external contacts at all levelsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and organizationStrong communication and collaboration skillsSocial perceptiveness, service orientedLicense:Driver’s License Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Primarily a sedentary role, requiring extensive use of a computer.Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.Minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions.This position plays a critical role in the success of Fahe’s Programs Department and Project Management.For the past eight years, our staff nominated Fahe as one of the top 100 Best Places to Work in Kentucky.
