Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is responsible for performing specific procedures for the screening and controlling of material used in the processing, manufacture, and distribution of blood and plasma products. This includes independently performing, interpreting, and troubleshooting laboratory procedures related to unit and/or donor suitability testing and other assays as required. The MLT will also perform routine analytical testing using both manual and automated methods, analyze test results against set controls, and complete maintenance and Quality Control (QC) per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role requires working within the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines and adhering to all regulatory standards within the Lab.
