What we need…

The Talent Acquisition Manager executes Management Solutions’ national talent acquisition strategy, leading recruiting efforts across Management Solutions’ respective business lines. The Talent Acquisition Manager partners with the firm’s senior leadership to attract diverse, industry leading talent pools to support our federal, state, and commercial project teams. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for determining staffing needs, developing recruitment strategies, and leading employment branding initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and must possess strong sourcing skills and be able to ensure positive candidate experiences. This position is based in Knoxville, TN or Aiken, SC.

Residency in the United States, as well as the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance is a requirement. Preference will be given to local candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruiting.

  • Passively sourcing a diverse range of candidates, including senior executives and technical subject matter experts.

  • Developing new recruiting strategies and programs to attract candidates.

  • Leading employment branding initiatives.

  • Leading recruiting and mobilization efforts for new contract awards.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Partnering with operations and programmatic staff to draft job descriptions, determine compensation ranges, and fill talent needs.

  • Conducting workforce needs assessments and forecasts.

  • Generate reports that track recruiting efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Due to the nature of government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Residency in the United States, as well as the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance is a requirement. Preference will be given to local candidates.

  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations within a government contracting environment.

  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills, preferably in engineering and energy.

  • At least 5 years’ experience recruiting and filling positions on federal contracts, including cleared personnel is required.

  • Workforce and succession planning experience.

  • Experience recruiting highly technical staff as well as executives.

  • Ability to passively source candidates via LinkedIn.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required

  • Five years of recruiting experience required.

  • Technical recruiting experience a plus.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.

  • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential highly encouraged.
