DevOps Engineer

Join our innovative team at Cisco as we seek a skilled Build and Test Automation DevOps Engineer. As part of our dynamic, multi-functional team, you will have the opportunity to shape the tools and environments that will elevate our product development to new heights.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Automation of build and test processes, continuous integration, testability and tooling.

  • Ensure smooth build, continuous test and release automation aligned with product vision and strategy.

  • Constantly refine existing processes and compliance frameworks to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Work alongside technical leaders and management to meet the acceptance criteria for the product requirements

  • Proven Performer: You have a track record of successful DevOps initiatives and are eager to implement continuous integration in a software engineering setting.

  • Team Player: Your excellent communication skills and collaborative nature make you an asset to any multi-functional team.

  • Self-Starter: You are a motivated individual who can effectively prioritize and handle your workload within our development framework.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: At least 2 years as a DevOps or Continuous Integration Engineer.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Linux/Unix, bash scripting, Jenkins, Git, Python, Pytest, Ansible, Make, GoLang, JFrog Artifactory, Redis.

  • Virtualization Expertise: Skilled in applying virtualization and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose, VMware vCenter, ESXi, KVM, and Vagran

  • Communication: Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
