What do you contribute?

As an engineer in projecting and development, you will work in a team on the development of on-board power converters for the electrical supply in trains such as the ICE.

  • Your tasks will include projecting, design and simulation of modern power converters with the latest technology as well as testing and validating the on-board power converter system.

  • You will design and verify power electronic circuits and technologies, specify new parts and components, initiate their qualification and support the selection of and cooperation with suitable suppliers.

  • In this way, you will help shape our technological innovation process and significantly influence the performance of our future products.

  • You will be involved in the entire product development process, work together with all project departments and coordinate further development steps.

  • You will initiate electrical measurements and functional tests on our components, carry out tests independently and document your results in test reports.

  • You enjoy working in international and cross-location teams and contribute to our joint success with your commitment and ideas.

What do you bring along?

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on power electronics/converter technology.

  • You have initial experience in the development or engineering of electrical systems.

  • Experience in the field of railroad technology is helpful, but not essential.

  • You have knowledge and experience of using modern measuring equipment.

  • You are proficient in the common MS-Office applications, ideally you are also familiar with SPICE, EPLAN, ELCAD, PLECS.

  • You communicate fluently in English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
