The Cigna Group Manager, Compliance in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Coverage includes Cigna’s general insurance business and group-wide initiatives;

  • Comprehensive exposure to compliance support for the development and/or ongoing review of applicable compliance and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to licensing, data protection, anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, anti-bribery, anti-fraud, outsourcing, product compliance;

  • Work closely with Complaint Management team on complaint related matters;

  • Assist with development of compliance policies and guidelines as required;

  • Advise business on compliance related matters and regulatory requirements, offering pragmatic and comprehensible solutions to meet the regulatory requirements and intra-group policies;

  • Participate in the development process of business partnerships and insurance products including review and assessment of relevant business model, marketing materials, forms and publications to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations;

  • Assist with design and conduct regular compliance testing, monitoring and risk assessment;

  • Promote ethical mindset, proper business practices and company compliance program through compliance training to staff;

  • Coordinate and undertake regular compliance reporting to regional and Home Office (U.S.) as required; and

  • Help drive and lead ad-hoc compliance related projects as necessary.

Experience / Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years or above working experience in insurance or financial services sector in compliance area

  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements of life and/or general insurance, including licensing, data protection, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, product compliance, outsourcing, etc.;

  • Working understanding of theory and principles in assurance monitoring;

  • Good business sense and commercial judgement;

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationship;

  • Pro-active and able to work independently with minimal supervision;

  • Detail oriented, well organized and good planning skill;

  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; and

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
