Location: Kyle, Texas
The Licensed Vocational Nurse – Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Reviews patient medical records, interviews patients and measures vital signs.
Explains procedures, performs treatments, and administers prescribed medication.
Performs venipuncture, peripheral IV insertion, SQ and IM injections.
Answers phones, responds to emails and faxes, schedules patient appointments.
Assists with supply stocking and ordering.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires an LPN or LVN and minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN/LVN; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Current LPN/LVN license in the applicable state required.
For Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
