POSITION: EVS Technician - Environmental Care

DUTIES: Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairwells in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner. Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area. Replenishes supplies in rooms and on housekeeping carts. Utilized the appropriate PPE, chemicals and supplies according to procedure. Follows all infection control practices, including handwashing techniques, standards precautions, and isolation precautions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have valid Driver's License High school graduate or general equivalence diploma preferred One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS: Speaking Talking to others to convey information effectively. Active Listening Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

WAGE: $15.00 - $17.83 per/hour

SHIFTS: Evening Shift / Full Time
