Adams Wrecking, LLC Parts Counter Specialist in La Junta, Colorado
POSITION: Parts Counter Specialist
DUTIES: * Assist in determination of parts requirements with customers, selling parts and providing order processing services. * Present merchandise to customers with professional selling techniques * Operate as a facilitator for customers in finding what they want * Maintains excellent customer relations at all times * Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares for delivery and nation-wide shipping.
REQUIREMENTS: * Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment to include phone system, computer systems and credit card machine. * Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds * Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. * Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl * Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
PREFERRED SKILLS: * Personable, a problem solver, ethical, intelligent, and able to adapt to all elements around you including - customers, suppliers, department employees, management and peers. * Strong organizational skills, good communication skills, excellent customer relations skills, good computer and systems knowledge. * Product knowledge including features and benefits knowledge of all commodities sold. * Previous experience in a parts or inventory setting. * Bi-lingual preferred but not required
WAGE: $14.42 per hour or higher depending on experience. PAID: Every 2 weeks on Friday
SHIFTS: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week 8am - 5pm, 1 hour for lunch
