Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Bali Group Corporation. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The Training Manager makes sure to identify, monitor and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to meet the needs in the organization. To be successful in this role, you must have a solid background in the training organization, be agile and creative.

This position will help and drive all Learning and Development courses with others, fostering a culture that drives employee engagement and retention. Coaching team members will also be essential in order to achieve a change in the working culture.

• Promote the strategy and overall execution of training and development of our clients.

• Build effective relationships across locations and departments to create an environment of accountability and excellence in Learning and Development.

• Cultivate associate engagement and facilitate business success by fostering a culture focused on employee engagement and retention.

• Reviews existing training programs, suggesting improvements and modifications to improve learning, engagement, and retention.

• Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate and effective.

• Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training.

• Facilitates training sessions and engages participants, forming connections between content and emotions.

• Ensures that training objectives are met.

• Partner with business leaders across the company to identify skill gap training opportunities and develop/deliver training solutions.

• Performs other tasks related to them that are assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field. A master's degree is preferred.

• Full autonomy and accountability at a high level are imperative.

• 3 years of related experience and training are required, equivalent to education and experience.

• Experience in managing the Learning and Development strategy for multi-site organizations is required.

• You must be able to quickly build effective relationships between departments and create an environment of accountability and excellence in training and development.

• Flexibility and adaptation to changing situations are extremely important, adapting to other assigned functions.

• Mastery of computers and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
