Position Summary
The Maintenance Engineering Technician position at the LaVergne plant is a multi-craft position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic (PLC). This position provides emergency and routine maintenance support to the operations departments in an industrial/automated environment.
We are looking for a teammate with the desire to learn, and to build a career with Bridgestone. Positions in this sub-family are responsible for managing or performing skilled trades and lower-level apprentice craft work for construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities systems, buildings, and equipment. Responsible for performing complete operation checkout, modification, disassembly, repair, reassembly, test calibration, diagnosis, and correction of problems.
Responsibilities
Installation, repair, maintenance, dismantle, and movement of large and/or complex industrial equipment
Service and repair of automobiles and their parts
Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
Sets up necessary repair and test facilities.

Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a multi-craft environment {position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electronic (PLC), and electrical}.Or 3+ years of high-tech maintenance related military experienceOr Completed apprenticeship program and 2+ years industrial maintenance experienceOr Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics, or related field and 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
