Reuland Electric Manufacturing Engineer in La Verne, California
As a Manufacturing Engineer with 7 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and driving cost-efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance our production capabilities.
Duties
- Process Optimization: continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and meet customer expectations.
- Cost Reduction: Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, resource optimization, and supplier collaboration.
- New Product Introduction: Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth NPI transitions, including design for manufacturability (DFM) assessments.
- Manufacturing Documentation: Create and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
- Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in Kaizen events, Lean initiatives, and Six Sigma projects to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers to improve the quality and reliability of sourced components and materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing engineering, with a strong background in CNC Machining, CNC Programming, and manufacturing assembly.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ERP Systems)
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, in a team-oriented environment.
