Information Technology Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Information Technology Coordinator will be responsible for the successful performance of all IT operations on the property, and for performance of all IT requirements as assigned by the Director of IT.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Schedule, staff, and assist the Director of IT to lead the team to successfully provide around the clock technology support for hotel Guests, hotel Groups, Montage Associates, property Owners and transient Guests.

  • Ensure efficient processes and procedures to effectively handle property level requests for support, and follow approved procedures for escalating and coordinating with corporate IT and vendors.

  • Provision and resolve technology problems as requested or reported, following all policies and procedures.

  • Implementation, maintenance, backup and administration of installed technology that meets vendor requirements, industry standard practices, the requirements of the property, and policies and procedures as developed by corporate IT.

  • Implementation and adherence to all routine security and compliance requirements and documentation as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three plus years’ experience in IT preferred

  • Two years’ experience at a Hotel/resort preferred

  • Customer service background preferred

  • Must have advanced skills with Microsoft Office products; Opera preferred

  • Must be able to multi-task with ease

  • Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer

  • Must possess advanced computational ability and computer skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver around the hotel. Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.

The pay scale for this position is $27 - $30 per hour.

The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position. Please let us know if you have any questions.
