Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the brand building teams in understanding their consumers, competitors, and market dynamics. This role aids in decision-making, product development, pricing, promotion, and market expansion strategies, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of the organization.

  • Collaborating with Marketing teams to understand their research needs and provide insights to support decision-making. Acting as a strategic partner to stakeholders and advising on consumer-centric strategies.

  • Research planning: Developing research plans and strategies to gather consumer insights, including defining research objectives, selecting appropriate methodologies, and determining sample sizes.

  • Managing end-to-end market research projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and budgets. Coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of research initiatives.

  • Conducting consumer, shopper, retail, product, media, competition, and customer analysis to support business with relevant data, information and insights.

  • Overseeing the collection of data through various research methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and observational studies. Ensuring data collection methods are accurate, reliable, and aligned with research objectives.

  • Studying consumer behavior and preferences to understand their motivations, needs, and decision-making processes. Using this knowledge to develop strategies for product development, marketing, and customer experience improvement.

  • Conducting competitive analysis to understand market trends, competitor strategies, and industry benchmarks. Identifying opportunities and threats in the market landscape and providing insights to inform business strategies.

What Will Make You Successful?

  • Atleast 5 years of experience in market research with an FMCG and / or strategic planning at a Research / Communication / Media Agency

  • The ability to think critically and analyze complex data to identify patterns, trends, and consumer behavior insight.

  • Effective communication skills to clearly and concisely communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

  • Having the courage and ability to solve problems, question the status quo and working successfully within a matrix structure.

  • Staying updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging research methodologies.
